New Record & Custom Made Scrapbook Pages

I'm on a roll! I was able to complete several pages yesterday...Oh, I'm so proud of myself! It is always easier and faster to scrap for others than it is to make mine, but I made 7 layouts including some 6x6...Wow, a new personal record!

And on this good note, I listed 3 auctions for Custom Made Pages, one of the listings includes a baby boy Scrapbook Album, the others are just for the pages in 12x12 and 6x6...I'm currently working on the pictures for the 8x8.

Today, I had a scrapbooking class scheduled for 2pm but it we postponed it for this weekend, this just gave me more time to prepare for tomorrow and Friday's Open House...Ahhhh, It's almost here!

Well, I gotta run. I'm in the middle of doing laundry and lunch. Just wanted to share my excitement with you...Blessings & Smiles!

New Listings

Happy Monday Everyone!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Are you ready for Thanksgiving???? I'm not but that doesn't matter it will be wondeful to spend time with the family. We're vegeterians so we are not excited about eating Turkey but we'll have lot of veggy dishes and pie!

OK, here's what's new today. There are a few new listings over at Ana's Handmade Cards, most of them have a Christmas Theme. I'm trying to list as many items as I can today, since the Christmas Open House is this Friday and there are a lot of things that I still need to prepare for that day. So, I might not list tomorrow. However stay tuned, because I will be posting pictures of the make n' take that our guests will be making on Friday.

Just take a look at this super cute RAK Card that I received the other day! Isn't it just adorable? As some of you know I love getting mail... So, I'm going thru the mail and I see this very thick envelope and what I found inside truly made me smile. It was this very cute card. Geri is a valued customer at Ana's Handmade Cards. We exchanged some emails and in one of them she shared how she was inspired by one of my tear dogs and created this adorable card. Thank You Geri for this RAK (random act of kindness) Card. I think you have a truly unique idea. My little Kelly loved it...She actually screamed when I first showed it to her. We've place the card on a shelf where we can admire it everyday. Oreo (Our Cat) keeps staring at it...perhaps he's amazed that it has not barked at him...lol!

What's New?

Hello, Hello!

What's new? I must tell you that a lot is new around here...There is a new size in town!

A new size of cards over at Ana's Handmade Cards. You are familiar with the MiniSized NoteCard, the Standard Card, the Large 5x7 and now....I present you...the Tall Card!

Oh, yes! A full 4x9 inches of handmade paper piecing! This size is SO much FUN, I made a few with bears and others are just paper piecing. It is fun to make them, the trick is to make enough time to list them. So, when you have a few, stop by my ebay store and check out my new listings. It might take me another day to list the other cards but I'm sure that you will enjoy them.

I've been sort of busy preparing for an upcoming Open House at my local Scrapbook Store. We will be starting a new group of classes. This Open House will take place next week, I'll keep you posted.

Also, I've been updating the categories in my store. Most items are now listed by theme and holiday. So, you will see Categories as "All..." and there you will find almost everything that has to do with that particular theme: Cards, pages, altered items etc. Remember to scroll down to see Cards listed by their style, such as: Handmade, Handstamped, Tear Art Bear, TA Cat etc.

INVOICE has been a challenge lately, when an invoice is requessted on only one item and a buyer has several items, Ebay's checkout will not allow all other items to be combined. It really drives me crazy because, I must send out separate invoices and that's not the problem. The thing is that PayPal charges a fee for each payment that is received then, some payments do not all clear at the same time. So, this means that items take longer to ship. For this reason, I have posted a comment in the listings and under my store banner that asks NOT to request an invoice but to send me a message letting me know that they are ready for an invoice. This may sound silly, however, in order for me to keep my shipping prices low -and they are low- and to pass on the savings to all my buyers, I need to do this. It might be an extra step but it will save us both time and money. So, THANK YOU for your understanding and support.

Fall Walk

Hello hope you've all had a wonderful start to November. I have been working on a few things and will be listing new cards, pages and some altered items...So, stay tunned as you will find new things over at Ana's Handmade Cards.

Today I wanted to share with you a picture that I took of my little girl. She loves playing in the leaves but most of all she loves walking on them! Here she is pictured with "Kitty" her beloved Cat who goes with her everywhere. Being with her is my greatest joy, she is a marvelous angel that fills my heart and life with joy and happiness. I want to take every moment of her life and treasure it forever. Scrapbooking allows me to share these memories with her, many times it is overwhelming on how much I want to share with her with my writing, however, I know that someday she will cherish them long after I'm gone. In the meantime, my husband and I will treasure each moment of her childhood. Life passes by very quickly...cherish it! So, today all I'd like to say is: Hug someone you love today!
